The Sun King HomePlus Pro Solar Home System provides an integrated solution for households and businesses that need dependable solar-powered lighting and mobile phone charging without relying on grid electricity.

Designed as Sun King's third-generation solar home system, the HomePlus Pro combines a solar panel, advanced control electronics, an LFP battery and four separate LED tube lights into one easy-to-install system.

The kit includes four 240-lumen tube lights, providing a combined rated light output of up to 960 lumens when all four are operating at their rated output. The lights can be distributed across different rooms, making the system suitable for bedrooms, sitting rooms, kitchens, shops and other indoor spaces.

The lights can also be linked together in series, allowing the lighting system to extend across multiple rooms. Each lamp is individually dimmable, with its brightness controlled through a wall-mounted switch. This gives users greater control over both illumination and energy consumption.

At the centre of the HomePlus Pro is a control unit incorporating a 38.4Wh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery. LFP battery technology provides the stored solar energy required for nighttime lighting and mobile phone charging.

The system incorporates an MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) solar charge controller, designed to maximize the usable energy harvested from the supplied solar panel.

An intelligent Battery Management System (BMS) further manages available battery energy. When the battery charge becomes low, the system can automatically dim the lamps and temporarily pause mobile phone charging, prioritizing the remaining stored energy to extend lighting availability.

For communication and everyday convenience, the control unit includes a USB-A phone charging port capable of delivering up to 1.8A. A convenient phone dock is incorporated into the top of the control unit, providing a practical place to position a phone while charging.
