Gotv Digital Tv Decoder With Grid Antenna – Terrestrial Tv Receiver, Gotenna Outdoor Reception System & Remote Control

GOtv Digital TV Decoder

The GOtv decoder is designed to receive and process supported digital terrestrial television services for viewing through a compatible television.

Once correctly installed and activated, it provides access to channels and programming available under the selected GOtv subscription package.

Grid Antenna Included

The package includes a grid antenna, also referred to as a Gotenna, for receiving terrestrial broadcast signals.

Including the antenna together with the decoder provides the main components required for establishing a GOtv reception setup.

Outdoor Antenna Installation

For suitable reception, the supplied instructions recommend installing the antenna outside the house and as high as reasonably possible.

The antenna should be positioned correctly and directed towards the appropriate local transmitter for improved signal reception.

Antenna Orientation

According to the supplied installation information, the Gotenna should be installed with:

• Red indicator/button positioned at the top
• Green indicator/button positioned at the bottom

Correct antenna orientation helps ensure the installation follows the recommended reception configuration.

Antenna Cable Installation

Care should be taken when routing the antenna cable between the outdoor antenna and decoder.

The supplied instructions recommend avoiding:

• Kinking the cable
• Cutting the cable
• Joining the cable unnecessarily

Maintaining the cable in good condition helps support reliable signal transmission between the antenna and decoder.

Entertainment Programming

Depending on the selected subscription package and available channels, GOtv provides access to different entertainment categories including:

• Football
• Sports programming
• African series
• International series
• Telenovelas
• Children's entertainment
• Educational children's programming
• General entertainment

Channel availability depends on the active GOtv package and service coverage.

Football & Sports Entertainment

GOtv provides access to supported football and sports programming, depending on the customer's active subscription package.

Available programming may include matches, commentary, analysis and other sports-related entertainment.

Movies, Series & Telenovelas

The service provides access to supported entertainment channels featuring African and international television series, drama and telenovelas.

Actual programmes and channels depend on the selected subscription package.

Children's Entertainment

Supported GOtv packages may provide access to child-friendly programming combining entertainment and educational content for younger viewers.

Software Updates

The supplied installation instructions recommend keeping the decoder connected to mains power to allow it to receive available software updates.

This helps maintain the decoder's operating software when updates are distributed through the service.
